Department Manager- Transportation

We’re seeking a Department Manager to lead a team in delivering highway design and DOT projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in project management, budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of DOT and highway projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Lead and manage a team of engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and project oversight.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders to support project development and approvals.
• Utilize Civil 3D and other engineering tools to enhance design efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in transportation engineering, highway design, or DOT projects.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and teams.
• Strong knowledge of Civil 3D and other design software used in transportation projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with state and local DOT agencies is highly preferred.
• BS Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
