Transportation Department Manager

We’re looking for a growth-focused engineer to lead our Highway Department, drive department growth, and ensure seamless project execution.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers on various transportation projects.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure client satisfaction.

✅ Qualifications:

• Years of experience in Highway Design.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering (Master’s may replace 2 years of experience).
• P.E. license in NJ (NY license is a plus).
• Strong communication, proposal writing, and problem-solving skills.

📍 Position: Full-time.

✅ Requirements:

• Strong engineering judgment with a focus on quality and cost efficiency.
• Solid knowledge of NJDOT and NJTA processes and procedures.
• Desire to mentor and train design staff.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with leadership on project approach, scope, cost, and schedule.
• Identify innovative solutions and build strategic partnerships.
• Attend meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to discuss design and permitting issues.
