Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the transportation engineering team in the design and execution of transportation projects.
- Ensure compliance with NJDOT and NJTA regulations and standards in all transportation designs.
- Oversee the development of project proposals, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to assess transportation needs and develop effective solutions.
- Review and approve engineering designs, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and environmental assessments for proposed transportation projects.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to promote continuous professional development.
- 20 years of experience in Highway Design.
- B.S. Degree min. in Civil Engineering (a master's may be substituted for 2 years of experience).
- P.E. in N.J. (a NY State license is beneficial)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and presentation skills, and problem-solving skills are also required.
- This position is full-time.

Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
