Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist with a strong background in providing hardware and software support, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software across the organization, ensuring smooth operations in a manufacturing environment.
- Provide user management support, including setting up accounts, managing access permissions, and troubleshooting user issues.
- Conduct routine system updates, equipment repairs, and maintenance of system hardware and software.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment and ensure that all hardware and software systems are up to date.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Administer security protocols, ensuring all systems meet security requirements and policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide IT support and resolve issues related to system performance and user access.
- Provide timely technical support and guidance to users, resolving any IT-related challenges efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in IT support, particularly in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in hardware installation, user management, system updates, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of IT security administration and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to assist and train end users.
- Experience with equipment inventory management and system repairs.
