As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for generating sales and fostering client relationships within the audio-visual (AV) and low voltage technology industries. This role requires a combination of sales skills, technical knowledge of equipment, and exceptional communication abilities to effectively convey the benefits of our products and services to potential customers. RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively prospect, qualify, and close sales leads to achieve revenue targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and offering excellent customer service.
Continuously educate yourself on the features and capabilities of AV equipment and solutions to effectively communicate their value proposition to customers.
Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients, highlighting the benefits of our products and services.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Work closely with the sales team, technical support staff, and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful project outcomes.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and promote our brand.
Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences, market trends, and product improvements to support strategic decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Engineering or related field preferred.
Background in sales or customer service preferred.
Basic understanding of audio-visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, displays, and control systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently, set goals, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, industry trends, and sales techniques.
Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Comfortable using sales tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
