Wage Range: $185,000 - $220,000.00 depending on experience and qualifications, plus incentive plan

OVERVIEW:
The Design Mechanical Service Division offers HVAC and plumbing services in the Metro Denver area, the Summit County, and Vail Valley markets. The division has approximately $20 million in annual revenue and 50 employees. The company is seeking a Service Leader with a proven track record of setting and achieving growth goals, improving market position, and maintaining a strong culture.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Safety leadership to ensure ZERO INCIDENTS within all areas of responsibility
• Ensure the department and its personnel promote the Company’s Core Values at all times
• Develop and ensure adherence to company processes
• Develop department budgets and profit goals in conjunction with company president
• Develop sales, operating, and marketing plans to achieve revenue and profit goals
• Control Expenses and develop strategy changes when needed to achieve department budget
• Provide financial forecasting as required to measure achievement against budget and goals.
• Develop performance management processes to improve performance
• Development of department personnel and establishment of training programs
• Directly oversee branch office managers, operation managers, and sales managers
• Analyzes current market conditions for opportunities, including new markets and acquisitions
• Understands industry changes and responds with alternative strategies to maintain competitive advantage
• Interact with Comfort Systems operating companies in sharing best practices
• Develop and maintain a culture of exceptional customer service
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Coach and mentor department staff
• Appraise staff performance and make compensation adjustments when warranted
• Member of Design Mechanical leadership team that develops overall company strategy
• Additional duties as assigned by the Company President
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Mechanical engineering or business degree and/or 10 years of related experience
• 5 years in a successful leadership role of a service organization
• Demonstrated ability to achieve double-digit revenue growth
• Ability to prepare and present at the executive level to internal and external constituents
• High integrity and ethics
• Strong leadership skills
• Manage complex issues and resolve high-level problems
• Ability to negotiate through complex situations
• Demonstrated ability to be part of and create a high-performing team
• Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
• Position involves occasional travel and overnight trips
