Key Job Duties
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation and job costing.
- Ensure adherence to GAAP, DCAA, FAR, and DFARS regulations.
- Support audits, including government contract and financial audits.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Assist with tax filings and regulatory reporting.
- Streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency.
- 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in defense or aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of government contract accounting and compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
