About You:
We are looking for someone who is a ”people person” who genuinely enjoys solving problems, is well organized and detail oriented with a foundation of knowledge both in management and field work. Must be adaptable, great at task management and have a solid understanding of the level of priority with each task and how this can change over the course of the workday. This position is fast paced and requires a great level of skill in communication, attention to detail and problem solving. Responsibilities:
- Visit customers, get to know our accounts well, have a great understanding of our contracts, how they work and what each customer receives.
- Regular communication with customers is important, making sure they feel heard and their requests are completed promptly while following our estimation process.
- Conduct regular property inspections, look for opportunities to sell additional services and to better meet our customers’ expectations of a fantastic looking property.
- When visiting properties, completing quick rounds of fertilizer and pesticide applications. Help train staff in this skillset as well.
- Communicate with managers and team members efficiently, helping coordinate scheduling of additional services and upsells.
- Create daily route lists and schedules for recurring services, monitor staff to ensure quality results and help staff learn how to achieve better results through positive reinforcement and considerate redirections.
- Re-sign customers at yearly contract renewals, negotiate pricing and sell additional services.
- Take the time to train team members on best practices in landscape maintenance, safety protocols and equipment operation.
- A snow region will be assigned to this manager in the southern NH area. The manager will work with a team of snow operators to manage snow removal and ice control. Responsibilities include regular phone calls and dispatching to team plus answering calls/texts from customers.
- Some field work will be required, we have a full and strong team but you may need to help demonstrate and lead the team by being an example of how to complete work properly in the field.
Qualifications:
- NH Fertilizer/Pesticide applicator & supervisory license required.
- Proven experience in a similar role with strong references available.
- Degree/associate’s in management or relevant field preferred.
- Ability to speak Spanish is a huge plus.
- Previous use of LMN software would be awesome but not required
- Previous landscaping and/or construction experience required.
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance, including lawn care, tree care, gardening, and irrigation is a plus
- Snow removal experience required.
- Communication skills through writing, phone calls, emails, etc. is a must.
- Adaptability is extremely important, must be able to “go with the flow” and can adapt to changing demands of customers.
- Strong business development skills required.
