What You’ll Do
- Process and record incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor and manage customer accounts, following up on outstanding balances with professionalism and persistence.
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to resolve billing inquiries and negotiate payment plans.
- Maintain a positive and friendly approach while addressing customer concerns and finding solutions.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports related to accounts receivable activities.
- Reconcile discrepancies and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve billing issues.
- Assist with process improvements within the finance team.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards in all financial transactions.
- Support the finance department with additional accounting tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP standards.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Friendly personality and excellent phone communication skills—you can effectively discuss payments while maintaining positive customer relationships
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- A problem-solver with a process improvement mindset, always looking for ways to streamline workflows.
