A well-established and rapidly growing veterinary group is actively seeking a skilled and compassionate Regional Support Veterinarian to provide clinical and leadership support across practices in the Panhandle of Florida, Alabama, and Georgia . This full-time, salaried position is ideal for an experienced veterinarian looking to expand their skills in veterinary leadership, mentoring, and working in a variety of practice environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform full clinical duties while on shift in multiple hospital locations.
- Adapt to diverse practice environments and work with a wide range of teams to meet hospital-specific needs.
- Apply a high level of empathy and flexibility in adjusting treatment plans and approaches based on each hospital’s unique patient and client base.
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude in challenging situations.
- Demonstrate a genuine desire to help others, fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Manage local travel to various hospitals within the region on a weekly basis.
- Mentor veterinary staff, with an emphasis on professional growth and development.
- Prior leadership or mentorship experience is strongly preferred.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Active veterinary license in good standing or the ability to obtain one in the states where practices are located.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect effectively with team members and clients.
- Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and delegate as appropriate.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make sound decisions based on data and stakeholder input.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and lead with empathy and respect.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to represent the organization and profession in a professional, positive manner.
