An established urgent care veterinary practice in New Britain, Connecticut , is seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team. This practice specializes in providing high-quality after-hours care to canine and feline patients, handling common urgent cases such as wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. The position offers a flexible schedule with single-doctor shifts, promoting a strong work-life balance while ensuring excellent patient care.

The clinic is equipped with cutting-edge, state-of-the-art equipment , including cloud-based EMR, digital x-rays, and a comprehensive suite of IDEXX in-house lab tools, all within a paperless environment designed for maximum efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution (or completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
  • Active and in-good-standing license to practice in Connecticut (or the ability to obtain one).
