DescriptionJob Schedule : Full TimeStandard Hours : 40Job Shift : Shift 1Shift Details : Associate Medical Director - General Psychiatry - New Britain, CTHartford HealthCare's Behavioral Health Network (HHC BHN) has a new opportunity available for a BC / BE Psychiatrist to join our cohesive behavioral health team by providing Leadership and Psychiatry services at The Hospital of Central Connecticut (HOCC) located in New Britain, CT.Some highlights of this opportunity include : Provide psychiatric services for adult, adolescent, and child clients on in-patient units, and for the partial hospitalization programs.Provide direct patient services including diagnostic admission evaluations, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy, as appropriate.Work within a multi-disciplinary treatment team and may act as a clinical team leader for the coordination and supervision of care provided across clinical disciplines.Complete timely documentation of assessments, clinical interventions, and discharge summaries and updates records as specified in medical staff regulations.Monitor risk indicators and act to address risk management issues in a timely manner to ensure client, staff, and visitor safety.Adhere to prescribing practices that are safe and evidence-based.
