Dental Scheduling Manager/Insurance Coordinator
Our office is looking for a Scheduling Manager/Insurance Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the front office administrative duties and clinical schedule who has great communication skills, patient care, professional, able to multitask, organized and reliable.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Maintain and manage patient records in compliance with privacy and security regulations
- Verify patient insurance and eligibility for each visit
- Maintain organized documentation of insurance communications and verifications
- Stay up to date with insurance policies, changes and regulations
- Arrange supporting documents for insurance claims
- File claims electronically in a timely manner
- Manage Outstanding Claims
- Manage Treatment Plans and Pre-Authorizations
- Audit patient record to prepare for future appointments
- Complete and balance end of day audit
- Oversee appointment scheduling, confirmations follow-ups and cancellations
- Process insurance payments
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.
Hours:
Monday through Friday.
M, T, R 7:30 am-4:00 pm
W & F 7:30 am-12:30 pm
Averaging 32 Hours Per Week.

Based on Skill Knowledge and Years of Experience
Experience and Key Competencies:
Establish and maintain a respectful, courteous and professional working relationship with visitors, patients, co-workers and outside agencies for promoting a quality work environment
Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
Excellent knowledge of dental insurance (In/Out of Network) and benefit verification. (Required)
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures and diagnosis
Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications (Eaglesoft Software Experience Preferred)
Typing Skills
Demonstrate and utilize effective verbal and written communication skills
