What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator position at Southern Radiology Specialists?
The primary responsibility for this position will be scheduling appointments across multiple locations with differant modalities.
- Gathering and inputting demographic and insurance data
- Scheduling & Confirming Appointments
- Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or unexpected events.
- Good communication skills are a MUST. You will need to communicate schedule changes to all relevant parties in a timely manner.
- Answering the telephone and routing calls to the appropriate party.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional customer service skills are a MUST.
- Time of Service and Prior-Authorization experience preferred
- Experience in radiology preferred
