The right candidate for this position MUST be administratively organized, good with people, prioritize cleanliness and organization, and like to make hay when the sun shines. We are a busy Seasonal restaurant, with periods of very high volume. We are actively involved in the community and participate in various events around town.
The Day to Day.
Ensure that all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed. Uphold Destination Hospitality standards of service, quality, facility appearance, cleanliness, and sanitation through training of employees. Constantly develop staff in food knowledge and execution.
In the absence of the General Manager, effectively supervise floor staff to ensure professional service standards, grooming and appearance standards, and guest satisfaction during hours of operation.
Act as the Manager on duty when the General Manager is absent. Complete daily duties, prepare and print menu materials, resolve guest complaints, maintain compliance with regulations and sanitation expectations, reconcile daily cash handling, maintain an engaged and helpful presence on the dining room floor and complete end of shift communications.
Provide consistent genuine hospitality with heart and style while creating a positive, productive work environment.
Build rapport with Destination Hospitality’s guests and ensure an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Work closely with all DH leadership and help establish and promote open lines of communication between front of the house and back of the house.
Establish role as a spokesperson for the restaurant within the community and with Destination Hospitality’s guests.
Assist with inventory control and product ordering, receiving and tracking. Purchasing of equipment and supplies.
Compensation - $50k-67k annually DOE and access to our comprehensive benefits program after 60 days.
Salary : $50,000 - $67,000
