We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings across different locations, providing essential nursing care to patients. Duties
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and outpatient facilities.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate health status and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Perform specialized procedures such as catheterization and dialysis when required.
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Cerner for accurate documentation of patient information.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and improve health outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, including health coaching and home community care strategies.
- Stay current with best practices in nursing, including knowledge of anatomy and esthetic laser treatment techniques.
Qualifications
- KY or Compact License
- Work Experience: 2 years of acute care RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Required Skills: * IV insertion: * Blood draws: * PICC/Central Line management: * Obtain 12 lead EKG: * Trach Care: possibly at times, not specific to the area * Epidural/PCA pump: , possibly at times, not specific to the area. No epidural pumps assigned to that area * Feeding tubes: possibly at times, not specific to the area * Continuous bladder irrigation: possibly at times, not specific to the area * * Wound vac:, possibly at times, not specific to the area
