Overview
DET Home Property Management is currently hiring several handymen/maintenance personnel to keep up with the growth of our rental portfolio. The majority of the work will be done on single-family homes in northwest Detroit in addition to some apartment buildings for maintenance items needing repair, such as painting interior/exterior, minor plumbing/electrical, changing locks, securing properties upon vacancy, kitchen repairs, flooring repair and install, drywall and bathroom upgrades. There is significant upward potential for those candidates who excel at our company
Good driving record and reliable transportation
The appropriate candidate for the Home Technician/Handyman Assistant position will be proficient in miscellaneous around-the-house type repairs like carpentry, basic plumbing, drywall, painting, and basic electrical.
