We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for an Account Executive to help us scale our sales pipeline.
Job Overview:
As an Account Executive at Detect Auto, you’ll own the full sales cycle (from initial outreach to closing deals) with independent and multi-location auto shops across the US and Canada. You’ll use Pipedrive to manage your pipeline, follow up with leads, and hit revenue targets. You’ll demo our platform, guide shop owners through onboarding questions, and work closely with our leadership team to improve sales strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Drive outbound and inbound sales using Pipedrive to track and manage leads.
- Conduct product demos virtually or in-person (e.g., at trade shows).
- Educate prospects on the value of Detect Auto and tailor messaging to their shop needs.
- Work closely with customer success and product to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Log all sales activity, notes, and deal stages in Pipedrive accurately and consistently.
- Provide feedback to the team to help improve sales materials, product features, and processes.
Requirements:
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS or the automotive aftermarket.
- Proven track record of closing deals and hitting quotas.
- Experience using Pipedrive or similar CRM.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, remote-first startup.
Bonus Points:
- Experience selling to auto repair shops, dealerships, or other automotive businesses.
- Familiarity with shop management systems like Tekmetric or Shop-Ware.
- Trade show or field sales experience.
