Position Summary:

The Marketing Operations and Design Manager is responsible for overseeing marketing activities, managing the creative design team, and driving initiatives to enhance Detego Health’s brand presence in the TPA (Third-Party Administrator) industry. This role requires expertise in health insurance, marketing strategy, graphic design, website development, and campaign execution. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to develop and maintain a consistent brand image, optimize marketing operations, and effectively communicate the organization’s value to clients and stakeholders. The Marketing Operations and Design Manager will also chair the Marketing Committee, ensuring alignment and collaboration across all marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

· Marketing Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the organization’s services and align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media channels.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives comply with industry regulations and company standards, particularly in the context of healthcare and health insurance.

Chair the Marketing Committee:

  • Lead and facilitate Marketing Committee meetings, ensuring collaboration among members and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop agendas, drive discussions, and provide updates on marketing initiatives, campaign performance, and future plans.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Marketing Committee and senior leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability in marketing efforts.

Graphic Design Oversight:

  • Direct and mentor the graphic design team, ensuring high-quality and innovative visual materials that align with the company’s brand.
  • Collaborate with the design team to produce marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, advertisements, and infographics.
  • Review and approve design deliverables to maintain consistency and excellence in branding.

Website Development and Management:

  • Oversee the maintenance and development of the company website to ensure functionality, user experience, and up-to-date content.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to implement website enhancements and SEO strategies.
  • Monitor website analytics and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Marketing Operations and Optimization:

  • Manage marketing workflows, tools, and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Track and report on marketing performance metrics, analyzing the effectiveness of campaigns and recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of marketing projects.

Industry Knowledge and Compliance:

  • Maintain a strong understanding of the health insurance and TPA industry to inform marketing strategies and content.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are compliant with HIPAA, ACA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on industry trends and competitive positioning.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Partner with internal departments, including sales, operations, and compliance, to align marketing efforts with organizational goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors and agencies involved in marketing and design projects.
  • Present marketing plans and results to senior leadership, gathering feedback and aligning on strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Experience in the healthcare or TPA industry is strongly preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Expertise in marketing principles, campaign management, and branding.

Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and website management tools (e.g., WordPress, Google Analytics).

Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and present ideas to stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive marketing decisions.

Understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, and their impact on marketing activities.
