Detroit Aggregate Trucking is looking for a Fleet / Heavy Equipment Mechanics to perform maintenance on our fleet of Class 8 trucks and construction equipment.

  • Starting Pay : $33-$35 / HR
  • Sign-on Bonus : $5,000

    • Responsibilities Include :

  • Repair diesel trucks, trailers and heavy equipment in a timely and efficient manner
  • Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
  • Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine, transmission, and differentials
  • Tire repairs / Landing gear repair

    • Job Requirements :

  • Basic set of tools (required)
  • Experience working on hydraulics, concrete mixer trucks, gravel train equipment and diesel trucks is a plus
  • Experience working on heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators

    Pay : From $33.00 per hour

    Expected hours : 40 - 50 per week
