We are seeking a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic B to join our team at the Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Highland Park, MI.

About the Job

This is a full-time position with a 2nd shift schedule from Monday to Friday, working from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

The salary for this role starts at $30.80 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• The Fleet Technician will focus on preventative maintenance of fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed.
• You will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance.
• You will inspect brake systems to ensure machines are in proper operating condition and make sure equipment has required licensing and registration.
• You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 plus years of related experience.
• Able to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Must have a valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles.
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement).

Preferred Education and Experience

• Technical School Certification.
