What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth and Adult Program Manager position at Detroit Lakes Community and Cultural Center?
Objective: To enhance and grow current youth and adult team programming and research, develop, implement, and manage new programming
Job Summary and Scope: This position is responsible for all youth and adult team programming
Key duties and tasks:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of youth and adult recreational sports programs. Evaluate current youth and adult team programming for effectiveness, reach, sustainability, safety and value
- Research, develop, implement and manage new youth and adult team programming.
- Manage Recreational sports equipment and evaluate current equipment for use and value
- Research and recommend new equipment that will enhance program development and value.
- Manage the youth summer camp program to maximize effectiveness, participation, safety and value
- Manage the Rec. program to maximize effectiveness, participation, safety and value in addition to creating value for the City of Detroit Lakes
- Manage Snappy Park and Washington Park per the agreement with the City of Detroit Lakes
- Develop and manage Family Recreational Programs and activities that enhance DLCCC membership experience
- Oversee the fieldhouse activities including maintaining the schedule, equipment set up and monitoring equipment and supply needs for the various field house programs
- Coordinate with other DLCCC managers from the Center and Historic Holmes Theatre to create member and guest experiences that enhance the mission of creating quality opportunities to learn, grow and play – physically, culturally and socially
- Develop, submit, maintain and achieve budget for assigned duties
- Other duties as assigned
The position of Director of Youth and Adult Team Programming:
- Is a management level position
- Reports to the CEO

Pay: $50000 - $55000 / year
