We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at DMC Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan. In this role, you will assist physical therapists in providing patient care, including evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists in evaluating patients' functional skills and developing individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient progress and communication with healthcare team members
Essential Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
- Current license to practice as a PTA in the state of Michigan
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
