Job Summary:
The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for providing services and support in multiple functional areas of Human Resources.
Job Responsibilities:
· Review time and attendance records for completeness and accuracy
· Prepare weekly hourly payroll for processing
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and benefit information in the HR systems by processing all hourly status changes, pay changes, garnishments, new hires, terminations and withholding requests
· Assist with onboarding of all new employees, such as new employee orientation, explanation of benefits, explanation of company policies, practices and procedures
· Assist with staffing and recruitment
· Assist with employee benefit programs (Open enrollment, cancellations, new hires, terminations, etc.) and enter benefit related changes into HR systems
· Assist in maintaining HR systems and all employee records and files
· Responsible for entering and filing training records
· Assist in informing employees of HR policies and field employee questions or concerns
· Attend and participate in meetings as required
· Participate in the planning and execution of employee functions and events for plant
· Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications (Required)
- At least 18 years of age (required at all locations)
- High School diploma or GED (required at all locations)
- 3 years of HR experience
Job Qualifications (Preferred):
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred (all locations)
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college
- PHR Certification
- Payroll processing
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Physical Requirements of the Job:
· Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day
· Able to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and lift for 8-12 hours per day
· Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment
· Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
· Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
· Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
· Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
· Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time
· Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends!
