Overview
This role sits within the Institutional Client Group unit and is responsible for meeting agreed sales and revenue targets within the Rates space. The Lead Salesperson will use detailed client/product knowledge, market knowledge and client relationships to generate sales opportunities and work to meet client satisfaction expectations. The Lead Salesperson will acquire and maintain deep knowledge about the allocated client/product by way of research and ongoing contact enabling idea generation of fitting sales solutions and will be conversant relevant legal, regulatory and Bank policy requirements and operate accordingly. Close liaison with existing clients and working to secure relationships with new client opportunities. Working relationships with origination, trading, research, client services, and operations staff – if applicable & to the degree that is commensurate with the Business area - to ensure effective end to end client / product delivery.

What You’ll Do
Responsible for covering important institutional clients at a senior level within our Flow Credit Derivatives space
Have strong relationships with partners, senior Portfolio Managers, principals and capital markets professionals at the clients you cover and to work collaboratively with product partners in trading and structuring to deliver creative solutions for your client base
Strategic planning, budgeting, client wallet share analysis and help generate new revenue opportunities within the rates space
New business development in Credit Derivatives; drive sales growth by creating new / developing existing relationships
Generate new revenue opportunities for the rates business
Think strategically about the Business, stay on top of market themes/trends

Extensive experience in Fixed Income
Strong interpersonal skills for developing new client relationships and communicating various Deutsche Bank teams in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to persuade investors to purchase Deutsche Bank services

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $200K to $500K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
