Overview

Reporting to the Head of the Latin America & US Offshore Region, the passive sales representative will be a key member staff responsible for expanding the business in Latin America in line with the regional goals to deliver against the set objectives and business plan for Latin America.

As part of the ETP Latin America & US Offshore sales team within the Client Coverage Division (CCD) at DWS, you will help to develop and maintain client relationships on behalf of the firm with pension plans, asset managers, private banks, discretionary managers and retail platforms. The team is responsible for working with a high degree of independence and in coordination with client relationship teams; to present passive products and solutions to potential investors and ultimately support clients in implementing their investment views using the passive product platforms, simultaneously increasing the AUM of the firm.

Role Details

As a / an Senior Coverage Specialist, you will (be) :

  • On-boarding prospects and providing relationship management
  • Working with management to establish a specific sales strategy for the client base in the US Offshore market.
  • Organizing and participating in meetings and events with both existing and potential clients (e.g. introduction and review meetings, road shows, conferences, events)
  • Presenting DWS, passive and ETP Xtrackers UCITS product suite, competitive advantages and characteristics of existing and yet-to-be-launched solutions, portfolio attributions and outlook to existing clients and prospects
  • Handling client requests whilst ensuring a prompt and accurate response
  • Share with clients and prospects DWS thought leadership, generate Investment ideas and ad-hoc content in the region that supports the implementation through our Xtrackers platforms.
  • Work closely to the Product and Investment teams, to identify product gaps and support product placement in US Offshore platforms.
  • Finding quick solutions to issues including compliance guidelines, performance calculations, valuation reconciliation and general developments in the external Asset Managers, Private Banks, Discretionary Fund Managers and Retail Platforms client segments
  • Enhancing clients' and prospects' conviction towards DWS by communicating pro-actively on topics relating to the organization and their specific interests.

We are looking for :

  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level) Undergraduate degree in relevant field, such as economics, finance or business administration (or equivalent qualification / work experience). A post-graduate degree and investment certifications such as an MS or an MBA and CFA or CIMA are preferred.
  • A strong background and experience in the US Offshore market
  • Fully bilingual Spanish and English, Portuguese is a plus.
  • Previous sales experience within either a buy or sell side environment to MIFID / FINRA clients selling UCITS funds.
  • Deep knowledge of UCITS ETFs and / or experience in ETF product development.
  • Knowledge of the US Offshore and US Retail industry, including regulatory structure, compliance governance and requirements.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • An ambitious and highly driven professional who is able to set priorities and work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as perseverance and tenacity in difficult and delicate situations
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and capability to keep both a big picture view on the business as well as a detail-minded approach to clients and prospects
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills, as well as time and project management skills
  • Strong, collaborative leadership style with the capacity to develop solid peer-to-peer relationships across the organization.
  • A self-starter with strong sales capabilities, as demonstrated by revenue figures.
  • Willing to travel often to the assigned territory within the US.

    The salary range for this position is $138,000 to $273,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
