Overview
The Trade and/or Transaction Analyst provides operational expertise and independent governance to achieve timely, accurate and complete transaction management for the Bank and, where relevant, the Bank's clients. The Trade and/or Transaction Analyst's responsibilities include technical, transactional, and logistical input into the leadership team to ensure the Bank operates with the right balance of quality, flexibility, control, and cost which is achieved through collaboration across businesses and divisions in an environment which maximizes control and minimizes operational risk, whilst maintaining exceptional client or internal customer/stakeholder (as appropriate) service levels. The Trade and/or Transaction Analyst strives to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with internal partners and/or external clients (as appropriate) and within the wider market to improve market practices and platforms. The Trade and/or Transaction Analyst builds and manages partnerships between internal businesses to ensure that the Bank's business objectives are delivered, comply with operational control, external regulation and continue to improve the Bank's technology platforms, as appropriate. Where relevant, they focus on new business initiatives and working as a team to ensure full front-to-back operational readiness for products ranging from high-volume vanilla trading through to highly complex structured transactions and, due to regulatory change and an ever-evolving business environment, the Trade and/or Transaction Analyst must continually provide input and creative innovative solutions to deliver efficiencies and protect the Bank and its shareholders.

What You'll Do
Review, understand and comprehend complex salability language in credit agreements relating to transfer of bank debt from seller to buyer
Draft and review Trade Confirmations, Assignment & Acceptance Agreements, Participation Agreements, Transfer Certificates, Accession Deeds, Multilateral and Bilateral agreements, and Proceeds Payout Letters
Draft/review Funding Memorandums of economics due to seller/buyer relating to bank debt transfers
Liaise with high profile clients, borrowers, and agent banks to facilitate closing in a timely manner; work directly with counterparties, trading desks, and settlement teams; Initiate and coordinate the trade closing process by liaising with electronic settlement platforms and internal trade settlement teams; serve as a client escalation contact for issues that may arise
Maintain metrics on trade closings and monitor key performance indicators on the closing process for senior management; create, Enhance, and Maintain Key Operating Procedures for the team; generate necessary reporting and reconciliations for front office; manage high volume, high dollar value exposure
Coordinate internal Know Your Client review to mitigate risk profile
Skills You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics; proven experience in finance
Must be highly motivated, organized, and proactive; the ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Acute sense of priority/urgency related to client and front office needs
Ability to adapt to market changes and conditions; strong critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues
Above average competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Knowledge of Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) Standard Terms & Conditions
Experience with Loan IQ/ LS2 (Application system for primay and secondary loans) and Electronic Settlement Platforms (i.e., Clearpar)
Aptitude in Mathematics and analysis to draft and understand complex pricing
Self-audit check to mitigate risk and identify solutions
Worked on a global scale to deliver client's expectation
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in either the Jacksonville, FL office or the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $48K to $70K and in New York, NY is $70K to $130K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
