As a Pastry Assistant, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Handle food safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure all dishes are plated attractively and served at the correct temperature.
