What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker/Assistant Pastry Chef position at Le Petit Four?
Le Petit Four is a French family owned bakery, we have been located in Needham for the past 4 years, doing business from our central kitchen / garage. We’re now opening a store in Wellesley MA with full size operation and kitchen.
Location : 380 Washington Street, Wellesley MA, 02481
Job Role : Mix bread and croissant dough Bread. Includes croissant shaping, baking bread and croissants for bakery and wholesale. Making of pastries and help on the pastry menu’s changes and specials.
We are currently seeking a talented baker who is energetic and hard-working, someone willing to learn and work alongside an experienced French baker, Michel Bentz. The ideal candidate will not only learn new skills with the french “savoir faire” but will also participate in the growth of the company. If that sounds like you, we would love to meet you!
Schedule : Weekend availability is a must. Shifts range from early morning to early afternoon start times
Requirements :
- 4 years experience preferred in Baking or Culinary
- Weekend availability required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- References Required
- ServSafe Certification knowledge is a plus!)
