We are looking for YOU to join us at our new bakery in Salem, MA.
This is a full-time position with great growth opportunities.
As a bakery / pastry chef you will work as part of a team to produce the highest quality products.
Have the skills and ability as a baker to :
- Make base doughs such as laminated, brioche, muffin / scone, pie / tart etc)
- Making & assembling cakes
- Shaping breads & bagels
- Making & decorating donuts
- Making frostings & glazings
- Be able to consistently follow recipes and scale up or down as needed while noticing issues / mistakes
- Stove-top production
- Oven production
- Cleaning & closing kitchen
- Lifting up to 60lbs
- Operate commercial size mixers, dishwasher, sheeter and ovens.
- Ask for help or direction when needed
- Troubleshoot quickly and calmly
- Work in an organized and clean manner
- Be able to stay active and handle the physical requirements of the job
