Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Custodian to join our team. The Custodian will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facilities.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor leaks
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals
Experience
- Experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and equipment
- Ability to perform tasks such as buffing, floor care, and maintaining various surfaces
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards
- Experience in residential painting is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
