Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background and be passionate about providing excellent customer service and technical support.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person and resolve technical problems efficiently
- Install, modify, clean, and repair computer hardware and software
- Set up and troubleshoot VPN connections for remote users
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email, antivirus, and spam filters
- Utilize IT support tools such as Jira and ServiceNow to track issues and document resolutions
- Collaborate with the IT team to implement firewall configurations and ensure network security
- Offer guidance on computer management best practices
Experience
- Proven experience in a technical support role or similar position
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with help desk software and customer service principles
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience working with VPNs for secure remote access
