Responsibilities

- Conduct motivational interviewing sessions to encourage clients in setting and achieving personal goals related to their recovery.
- Mentor clients by sharing coping strategies and resources that promote self-advocacy and independence.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals to develop individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Assist clients in accessing community resources, including social services, housing support, and addiction counseling programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress, and any relevant observations while adhering to confidentiality protocols.

Qualifications
- Certification as a Peer Specialist or equivalent experience in mental health counseling or social work is required.
