Lab Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting research and development initiatives within our laboratory environment. This position requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, adherence to FDA regulations, and the ability to conduct various tests and analyses. The Laboratory Technician will work collaboratively with scientists and researchers to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and experiments in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collect, prepare, and analyze samples from various sources, including clinical and industrial settings.
• Adhere to FDA regulations and safety standards while conducting experiments.
• Document all findings accurately and maintain detailed records of experiments and results.
• Assist in the development of new laboratory procedures and techniques.
• Collaborate with team members on research projects, providing insights based on data collected.
• Participate in quality control measures to ensure the reliability of test results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline preferred.
• Experience in a clinical laboratory setting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures, including histology, microbiology, and animal physiology.
• Proficiency in data collection methods and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations governing laboratory practices.
• Excellent mathematical skills for accurate data analysis and interpretation.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
