Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and strengths.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as behavioral therapy and crisis intervention.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Facilitate access to community resources and support services for clients and their families.
- Participate in case management meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to identify mental health issues and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Engage in research activities to stay informed about best practices in social work and mental health counseling.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
Qualifications
As a member of a sex offender team, is responsible for sex offender interventions for a caseload of assigned offenders
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker is preferred.
- Experience in mental health counseling, clinical counseling, or home community care is highly desirable.
- Proficient in crisis intervention techniques and group therapy facilitation.
- Strong understanding of systems theory as it relates to social work practice.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to document effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in social work.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour
