Duties

- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with relevant regulations, including ICD-9 coding.
- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to communicate effectively with clients and other healthcare providers.
- Engage in clinical counseling practices that promote mental health awareness and recovery.
- Implement Christian counseling principles when appropriate, respecting the diverse backgrounds of clients.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Social Worker in the state of practice.
- Experience in group therapy, psychopharmacology, and patient care is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mental health counseling techniques and medical documentation practices.
- Familiarity with medical records management and clinical counseling methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
