We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide counseling services to individuals, families, and groups facing various challenges, including mental health issues, addiction, and crisis situations.
- Utilize crisis intervention techniques to support clients in distress and facilitate immediate assistance.
- Mentor and supervise interns or junior staff members in clinical practices.
- Collaborate with community resources and agencies to ensure clients receive appropriate services, including Section 8 housing assistance and Medicare resources.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary services within the community.
- Stay informed about current trends in social work practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Strong background in childcare practices and child welfare systems.
- Proficient in social work methodologies with experience in addiction counseling.
- Excellent crisis management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Effective mentoring abilities for guiding less experienced staff or interns.
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs and Medicare processes is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction and documentation.
