Laboratory Scientist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory tests and analyses to assist in diagnosing and treating patients. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results, contributing significantly to patient care.

Duties

• Conduct a variety of laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other bodily fluids.
• Analyze test results and communicate findings to physicians and healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and protocols.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Document all procedures, results, and quality control measures accurately.
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to improve processes and workflows.
• Stay updated on advancements in clinical laboratory science, including developments in animal physiology and quantum engineering as they relate to lab practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
• Valid certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or equivalent licensure.
• Strong understanding of laboratory techniques, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Knowledge of animal physiology is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with quantum engineering concepts is advantageous for innovative testing methods.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $31.02 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

License/Certification:

• Clinical Laboratory Scientist License (Preferred)
