Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing care and support to individuals and families in need. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical research and best practices.
- Provide therapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients in hospital settings.
- Utilize ICD-9 coding for proper documentation of diagnoses.
- Engage in child family counseling to support the emotional well-being of children and their families.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in Christian counseling and other therapeutic modalities.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary resources within the community.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
- Valid state licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent).
- Experience in medical documentation, clinical research, or hospital settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of therapy techniques and child family counseling practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ethical practices and maintaining confidentiality of client information.
