What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior QA Analyst position at Devcare?
Seeking a QA Analyst to join our team of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and web developers. This staffer will assist in testing web applications for SharePoint solutions M365 integrations to ensure functionality, usability, and web accessibility. They’ll also assist in basic troubleshooting for end-users. They’ll create and execute test cases, document results, and report defects while collaborating with developers to validate fixes. Additionally, they’ll assist in analyzing business requirements to refine testing strategies and ensure alignment with user needs. Responsibilities include documenting test plans, tracking issues, supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), and providing feedback to improve system functionality. You will also help create user guides, training materials, and process documentation (especially in dashboards and their connected systems) to support end users. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of web technologies are essential. This role is needed in the web systems team due to the increase in work efforts from the customers who demand fast turnarounds and high-quality/low-error functionality.
Required Skills:
Good working experience with using Microsoft Office or Google Docs.
Good working experience using Google Chrome.
Good practical experience with Windows, Linux, or Mac operating systems.
Good knowledge of Spark and Databricks SQL/PySpark.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good practical experience with basic troubleshooting.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
