JOB SUMMARY: The Program Manager will support the Next Move NY initiative, ensuring its successful implementation and operation. This role involves directing activities and providing support to the Program Administrator, as well as implementing strategic priorities in collaboration with the Regional Employer Liaison. The Program Manager's primary focus includes maintaining the new soldiers job matching portal and the Next Move NY website, implementing new programming, coordinating with partner programs such as the Soldier Recruitment and Training Incentive Program, and developing and executing marketing and advertising plans.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and update the new soldiers’ job matching portal and Next Move NY website.
- Implement new programming to support the Next Move NY initiative.
- Coordinate with partners to promote programs including the Soldier Recruitment and Training Incentive Program and Veteran Ambassadors Program.
- Develop and execute marketing and advertising plans to promote initiative goals.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance program visibility and impact.
- Assist in grant administration and reporting as needed.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Program Administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Proficiency in program management and strategic planning.
- Experience in website management and content development.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
- Familiarity with military or veteran support programs is preferred.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:
- Relevant certifications in program management or related areas are advantageous.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in program management, marketing or a related field. Experience in website management and content development is highly desirable.

MINIMUM DRIVER'S LICENSE: Class D NYS regular operator
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Occasional travel within the North Country region may be required.
TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE: Regularly works Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with flexibility required to attend occasional evening meetings or events.
ENVIRONMENTAL: Typical office environment where employee is protected from weather conditions or contaminants.
