Description
Job Title: Floor Supervisor
Reports To: Tantone Director
Summary
Exercises an ongoing process of communication and guidance of the workshop’s employees to ensure the quantity and quality of product pick up and production meets timelines established by the Tantone Director.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for oversight and supervision of production and schedule requirements.
- Responsible for teaching job related skills and processes to new employees.
- Review, assess, and follow all work completed by facility employees, communicating observations to Tantone Director.
- Provide guidance and intervention to employees.
- Weigh products and report results to Tantone Director.
- Performs time studies on employees.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Keeps accurate time and attendance tracking of all employees.
- Provides constructive and timely performance assessments.
- Handles discipline of employees in accordance with company polices and with the direction of Tantone Director.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education level.
- 18 years or older.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain certification in CPR/First Aid.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Blood Borne Pathogens, Systemic Instruction Strategies, Abuse/Neglect, HIPAA, Confidentiality, and Behavior training.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Class E driver’s License.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification.
- Must be able to pass a 10-panel drug test.
- Must pass a background check including criminal record and driving record.
- Ability to perform each essential duty and responsibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred: Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, occasionally above shoulder level.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; this may be more with certain types of work assignments.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
