At Deveron, we are seeking a skilled Territory Business Manager to join our team. This role involves managing seasonal soil sampling crews, servicing existing clients, expanding our customer base, and promoting value-added precision agricultural services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and managing seasonal soil sampling crews to ensure efficient and accurate sample collection.
- Recruiting and managing seasonal samplers to support the soil sampling operations.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients in the region, addressing their agricultural needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through effective relationship building and sales initiatives.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and other relevant data.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong background in agronomy or agriculture, with a Bachelor's degree being an asset.
- Demonstrated sales experience and success in agricultural sales is also an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivation and results-oriented with a valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated territory.
