Principle Purpose of Job
The purpose of the Remote Reservations Agent position is to ensure that the Ranch mission is executed by booking lodging reservations for individual and group guests. Answer and transfer phone calls, follow department and Ranch policies and procedures, answer guest questions, mail distribution, maintain guest information, daily reports and night audits, make reservations, be knowledgeable about other departments, be aware of guest and Ranch issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Answer all incoming phone calls within 3 rings.
- Respond to all Voicemail messages in a timely manner.
- Answer emails in a timely manner.
- Make / modify / cancel all transient and group reservations as needed.
- Charge guests lodging deposits as required by company policy.
- Check Waitlist and make calls to fill openings / cancellations.
- Make gift cards purchased through phone or online.
- Log any maintenance / housekeeping issues into HOTSoS.
- Log any guest requests in their reservation.
- Charge 3rd party reservations in full on day of arrival.
- Perform other jobs / tasks as requested or required by upper Management.
Requirements
Compensation Description :
18.00 - $20.00 / hr Competitive pay commensurate with education and experience.
Benefits and Perks :
Due to the nature of our 24-hour operation, there is no guaranteed work schedule. Managers will try to accommodate specific schedule requests, but they are never guaranteed if business volume prohibits.
