Principle Purpose of Job
Support and assist the Housekeeping Manager in promoting Devil's Thumb Ranch service standards, serving as a role model for Housekeeping staff, training team members, and maintaining the integrity of the Ranch and Housekeeping operations, policies, and standards across all Devil’s Thumb properties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform general housekeeping duties to meet Devil's Thumb Ranch standards, such as cleaning rooms, restocking supplies, and maintaining public areas.
- Inspect and clean rooms before guest arrivals and public areas as needed, maintaining top service standards.
- Assist with payroll, administrative tasks, and creating daily housekeeping boards.
- Manage inventory, draft purchase orders within budget, and supervise staff for quality and efficiency.
- Participate in hands-on housekeeping tasks alongside the team, including removing linens, making beds, dusting, and more.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, conduct safety training, and handle incident reports.
- Maintain regular attendance, adhere to uniform and grooming guidelines, and support other managers as needed.
- Supervise daily Housekeeping operations, including Room Attendants, Housepeople, and Commons.
- Train and cross-train staff while maintaining and updating departmental training materials.
- Support the creation of schedules to align with budget, avoiding overtime, and ensuring adequate staffing.
- High school diploma or GED required, with at least one year of housekeeping or supervisory experience. Hospitality related degree preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with proficiency in basic computer tasks and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Outgoing, approachable, and friendly with a professional demeanor, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Positive, proactive, and flexible, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Trustworthy, skilled in handling confidential information, resolving guest complaints, and maintaining high housekeeping standards.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation Description:
$20.00 - $24.00/hr Competitive pay commensurate with education and experience.

Due to the nature of our 24-hour operation, there is no guaranteed work schedule. Managers will try to accommodate specific schedule requests, but they are never guaranteed if business volume prohibits.
