DeVine provides technical and scientific support to government clients in Space Science, Atmospheric Science and Oceanography among other technical disciplines.
Our company is looking for a Linux System Administrator to join DeVine in a full time capacity. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may be considered.
DeVine contributes to projects in remote sensing, modeling, and scientific analysis of the Earth’s atmosphere and ocean and land surfaces, as well as astronomy and astrometry. We help our clients test and operate space-based, air-based, subsurface, and land and ocean surface-based sensors. We also collaborate on projects that develop new remote sensing capabilities and new ways of analyzing data.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering, Information Technologies, Electrical Engineering, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, or equivalent
- 5 years’ demonstrated experience managing computer systems and IT infrastructure security with Navy requirements and proper accreditation
- Demonstrated experience with Linux operating systems
- Current Security or higher
- Current Secret Clearance or higher
- Position Type: Full-time, Must be U.S. Citizen
- Location: Washington, D.C
- Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, Paid Holidays, Paid Sick Leave and Paid Vacation
- Compensation: $105K to $135K per year salary range
