Construction Manager

DevOps Utility Construction,

A subsidiary of DevOps Solutions is looking to hire a construction manager to perform work overseeing project execution, ensuring quality interactions with staff, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Also responsible for effective planning, scheduling, direct management, and successful delivery of work packages. Overview:

Successful construction manager candidates must be able to manage project deadlines, maintain critical relationships with customers and stakeholders, and ensure all projects expectations are met. Also, a proactive approach to decision-making, empowering the manager to make strategic choices regarding resource allocation, project scheduling, and conflict resolution. Also be responsible for risk management and making pivotal decisions that affect project outcomes, always in alignment with the company objectives and standards.

Responsibilities:

· Prompt communication with customers and DevOps management.

· Supervise and maintain customer relationships throughout various construction projects.

· Build company image by enforcing ethical business practice.

· Meeting customer expectations by supporting customer initiatives and schedule. Oversight of personnel and work package.

· Supervise team.

· Supervise installation.

· Provide support to the Director of Operations.

· Interface with customers.

· Effective time management and adherence to project timelines.

· Collaborate with multiple clients, vendors, teams, and personnel to accomplish objectives.

· Receive prints, drive/walkout jobs, set timelines, delegate work effectively, visually inspect complete work.

Qualifications:

· Must be able to pass pre- employment background check, motor vehicle check, drug test, and DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.

· Minimum of two years' experience as a construction manager

· A valid, unrestricted driver's license (commercial driver's license preferred but not required)

· Knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques.

· Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck, and work aloft and climb poles up to 40 feet.

· Able to perform all duties in telecommunications construction (such as, pole transfers, maintenance builds, new build, cable installation, over lash, and strand construction)

· Able to lift/carry 50lb regularly and up to 100lbs as needed with or without assistance.

· Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

· CDL

· 5 years experience

· Experience running aerial crews.

· Military experience
