Responsibilities
The intern would be working in our Transportation Group focused on structural (bridge and tunnel) projects. Typical responsibilities include:
- Developing and evaluating engineering solutions
- Preparing design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and drawings
- Performing inspections of existing structures
- Assisting with various studies and documenting results
- Adherence to assigned project schedules and budgets
- Writing internal communications
- Performing other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Must be currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, emphasis in structural engineering or transportation a plus.
- Previous internship experience a plus.
- Experience with AutoCAD preferred; Civil 3D is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
