What are the responsibilities and job description for the Well Pump Technician position at Dewey Drilling & Pump?
We are seeking a skilled Pump Technician to join our team. The Pump Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of pumps. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and equipment operation.
**Duties:**
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps in accordance with safety regulations
- Perform preventative maintenance on pumps to ensure optimal performance
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to diagnose pump issues accurately
- Provide support and expertise to customers
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory
**Skills:**
- Ability to troubleshoot pump issues
- Familiarity with plumbing and electrical
- Experience with heavy equipment operation
- Ability to learn new skills and work well with others

- Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
