Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Day Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for campers. You will be responsible for supervising activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of all participants. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about working with children and have a knack for engaging them in various activities.
Pay Rate: $12.50-$13.25/hr
Duration: At least 25 hours per week for 12 weeks
Begin Date: June 2nd, 2025
End Date: August 21st, 2025

Duties
- Supervise and engage campers in daily activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate games, crafts, and educational programs.
- Provide support and guidance to campers in developing social skills and teamwork.
- Manage behavior effectively, employing positive reinforcement techniques.
- Assist with first aid as needed, ensuring all health protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a cohesive camp experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized camp environment.
- Plan and lead recreational activities
- Work as a team with fellow counselors to create a positive work experience for all.
Experience
Ideal candidates should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Must be 18 years old and graduated from highschool.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment.
- Must be enthusiastic and dependable.
- Experience working with children is preferred.
