Job Description
The Director of Demand Planning and Supply Chain will lead the development and implementation of effective production, purchase, capacity, and inventory plans based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints across all plants and suppliers.
This role will support management with supply and labor risk assessments, mitigation plans, and what-if scenarios. The Director will also coordinate, organize, and oversee all activities involved in the mid to long-term planning of labor, inventory, capacity, and production for finished goods, WIP, and raw materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and maintain labor and resources needed to provide efficient and feasible plans.
- Develop and own capacity, inventory, labor, and purchase plans with close supply chain and operation leadership collaboration.
- Establish performance metrics for measuring, comparing, or evaluating factors affecting supply, production, capacity, inventory, and inter-company transfer planning.
- Develop and maintain detailed inventory targets of materials and supplies in all locations and sites to support customer service levels.
